Design
Each custom piece we do is made just for you and your home!
We begin by going over every detail with you to ensure it's exactly how you envision it. Then, it's to the local lumber store where we pick out the best materials. Matt then cuts the boards to the measurements you provide, for a true one of a kind custom piece.
Kaelyn then sands, stains and seals the boards to the color and style of your choosing, and then; we assemble with love.
the family
Matt was a woodworker for seven years prior to starting in a new industry. After finding out we were expecting our daughter, he switched careers, and has ever since missed and loved working with wood.
Kaelyn has always had an eye for detail and a passion for home décor and styling. Shortly after buying our first home in 2018, dreams, designs and ideas began brewing.
M+K joined talents and their love for creating together in 2019. Two months after having our son, we went for our dreams and M+K Wood Co. was brought to life.
Our mission is simple. To bring love, style, function, and fun to life through our handcrafted wood pieces that are built to last for generations.

With each custom piece being a true unique labor of love, each and every project is crafted with 100% quality, care and value.
We would never create something we wouldn't love to showcase or use in our own home. Since wood is a being of it's own nature, it's normal for slight changes over time. If you do encounter a design flaw or craftsmanship issue, we will fix or replace the piece within reason.
